shows potential buyers that they are dealing with someone who is
prepared.
Second, it will focus your prospects' attention where you want it.
Third, it is something for them to take with so that when decision-time comes, they have your
information in front of them.
The real estate marketing brochure is your sales tool that shows rather than tells prospects about your house.
The Listing Sheet, which you will also
make up, will have all of the room sizes, tax and utility information, etc.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much are pictures featuring your houses best views
and prettiest rooms worth?
Before putting together your real estate marketing brochure, check out open houses in your area. If the houses are
being shown by good agents, there will be brochures that you can use as examples.
In addition to an enticing description of your house and property a good brochure also has:
Color photos of your house, starting with the front approach, taken at an angle that accentuates
its 'best side" and moving along to its prettiest rooms.
For hints on what the photos should look like, pick up a copy of
House Beautiful, Better Homes & Gardens or Martha Stewart's Living
and try to make your photos look like theirs with the light streaming in and the table set.
Neighborhood information. Talk about the advantages of your neighborhood When we moved into our
neighborhood, it was on the edge of an outlying suburb. It still had the charm and acreage of
a rural area along with the conveniences of being near a city. Another selling feature to us was
that there was bus service that ran down our street. We could walk out our door, down the drive
and catch a bus to the city or airport.
School information. Good schools help make good locations. Accentuating the positive about your
local schools is a big plus.
